Is your device compatible?

Trainetic doesn't depend on any brand: it reads the Bluetooth standards that manufacturers use. Check your device's spec sheet or box.

Connect your device in three steps

Just once: Trainetic remembers it for your next sessions.

You pair it

In your account, "Connected apps and devices", then "Add a device". Turn it on or put on your strap: it appears, you tap it.

You start your session

Trainetic connects your devices at the start. On a computer, you click "Connect" for each one before you begin.

You ride or you run

Your heart rate, watts, cadence or speed show up live, and everything is recorded with your session.

What doesn't connect

Sensors that only speak ANT+, and devices whose manufacturer keeps the data for its own app. On a computer, Safari and Firefox can't connect over Bluetooth: open Trainetic in Chrome or Edge.

Questions about compatible devices

My device isn't on the list: is it compatible?
Probably, if it transmits over Bluetooth: Trainetic reads standards, not brands. To control a smart trainer or a treadmill, it also needs FTMS.
My sensor uses ANT+: does it work?
Only if it also speaks Bluetooth, which is the case for most recent sensors. A sensor that is ANT+ only won't connect.
Do I need the app or a computer?
Either one: the app on Android and iPhone, or Trainetic in Chrome or Edge on a Windows computer or tablet. Not Safari or Firefox.
Can Trainetic control my smart trainer?
Yes, if it supports FTMS: in ERG mode with your FTP, or by setting the resistance yourself with the + and − buttons.
Do I need a device to use Trainetic?
No. Your phone is enough: a voice announces each block of your session. Devices add live data.
Can I use my Garmin watch?
Yes, through Garmin Connect™: your sessions go to your watch and your activities come back to Trainetic for analysis.

Plug in your gear, Trainetic takes care of the rest.
